This family owns the pizzera where we do a lot our ministry. We've helped them through struggles and just recently, Steve has asked me to take his sons to feed the homeless with us at a church. The family is nominally Muslim. He's even expressed interest in helping himself. 

This is Las Colinas, two miles from our house where approximately 95% of the residents are unchurched. Thera are many great restaurants, coffee shops and apartment clubhouses here where microchurches (small groups) can be started. We need your help to make this a reality. DSC_0559.JPGRuben and Cindy are hungry for God's word. They even want to begin a small group at their place. Unfortunately, schedules have kept us from spending enough time with them. Basically for us, it's a money thing. We love Ruben and Cindy. Please help us spend more tiime sharing the Gospel with them. 

DSC_0648.JPGLucky's Cafe will be a great place to study about the providence of God, debunking that myth called luck. I'm not sure what the food tastes like, but this cafe is halfway between two networks of microchurches, a great meeting place to work together. You can help us make that happen.

Your donations will help us continue to take Christians as well as our unchurched friends to feed the homeless in downtown Ft. Worth. After our time at the feedings we typically have a short prayer time in the sanctuary. This isn't a time for everyone that has volunteered, but for our members and friends. We reflect a lot at that time on what has occurred, how we have represented Jesus and we pray for those we've served or conversed with on our evening of service.

If you ever get to the DFW area on a Thursday night, you'll want to spend some time serving with us. If we aren't scheduled to be there that Thursday, we'll make a special trip just for you. It's a blessing every time we go.
